About Our Deliveries

Diddle Tinkers Modern Kids Furniture Delivery options for each product are listed on the relevant product page, but please email us at enquiries@diddletinkers.co.uk to get a personalised quote if you require shipping outside of the U.K.

Diddle Tinkers base postage of all items on size, weight and country of shipment. These postage charges are based on standard courier charges and not by Diddle Tinkers. 

Sometimes, deliveries may be split due to split locations of our warehouses in London and Durham, but we aim to have your goods with you by the time scale mentioned.

We ask that when receiving a delivery to check the items before the delivery driver leaves, to be able to return your delivery in the rare event of damage.

Please always inform us if you are going to be unavailable on the suggested delivery date, and we will endeavour to arrange a suitable alternative. Failed agreed deliveries may be subject to re-delivery/cancellation charges.

For larger heavier items, customer assistance may be required to help the driver and delivery is strictly to ground floor only for insurance purposes. Our delivery drivers are not insured to enter properties so please take this into account with bulkier Items.

Diddle Tinkers offer a proffessional Installation and assembly service where required, to UK customers.

From the moment you connect with us to the moment your installation is complete, we aim to go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and security

Assembly help is sometimes required for bulkier childrens furniture items such as bunk beds, loft beds, or large wardrobes etc. Please feel free to email enquiries@diddletinkers.co.uk for your free quotation with regards to this childrens furniture assembly service, and we will be only too happy to assist if possible. 

Delivery times

Unless you’re having an item specially made or ordered, delivery is normally within six working days, and often much sooner.

We include details of normal delivery times on our product pages, and will endeavour to let you know when we aim to dispatch your items once we receive your order.

If you want more information about delivery for a product that you’ve already ordered, please get in touch with us directly using the contact page. You can also do this using the contact link on your order confirmation email. In all circumstances, we’ll be very happy to assist.

Very occasionally, unavoidable factors can delay a parcel (bad weather or postal strikes, for example). If this happens we will let you know and, where possible and appropriate, will agree a revised delivery date with you. We do ask for your patience if this happens – we’ll be doing our very best to sort it out for you. Once your order is on its way, we will be in touch again to let you know when you should expect it.

Please make sure you can be available to take delivery of your product or input an address for delivery where someone can be present i.e. a work address or relative/neighbour.

Delivery and promotions of Diddle Tinkers Modern Children's Furniture UK

If you take advantage of a Diddle Tinkers discount code (such as 10% off), the reduction is usually applied only to the price of the product you’ve chosen, not the delivery cost. Also, any free delivery offers will normally mean standard UK delivery only.

UK delivery of standard items

Most standard orders are delivered within the UK for under £10, and many are free. Delivery costs are worked out according to the product’s size and weight..

If a product is delivered free of charge this is clearly displayed on the product page.

UK delivery of non-standard items

A non-standard item is something that’s considered to be fragile, of high value, large or heavy, or something that has exceptional delivery requirements. For these products, the above costs won’t apply – you’ll find the delivery cost on the product page.

International delivery

International delivery is available on most products, and shown on the product page. 

Delivery costs are worked out according to the product’s size and weight, as well as where it’s going.

Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Denmark, France, Germany, Monaco, Greece, Portugal, Italy and Spain.

Please allow a minimum of 14 working days from dispatch.


If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, for whatever reason, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to contact us to return your order. All items being returned much be pre-arranged, and either organised to be returned by yourself, or by us (for a standard charge), and items MUST be in their ORIGINAL PACKAGING and in a re-saleable condition. Once received back at our returns depot, a refund will be issued.
